Genderful is a digital space dedicated to uplifting, normalizing, and building a community for gender non-conforming (GNC) folx. The main goal of Genderful is to provide a space for past and present GNC individuals to be seen and heard, as well as to educate cisgender people who have limited knowledge about the trans community due to a lack of visibility in media.

IDEATION
Concept Mindmapping + Research
During this early stage of ideation, I was thinking about specific ways in which I could use design as a tool to aid the trans community. I decided that I needed to create a space that featured a collection of trans history, trans resources, and trans people. I narrowed down the name of the project by creating a mindmap around the word "gender non-conforming".

INSTAGRAM + VIDEO SERIES
Before I could start the trans visibility video series, I needed other trans and nonbinary folx to submit videos to feature on the Genderful site. I began by creating an Instagram account for Genderful, along with some Instagram graphics calling for trans or nonbinary people who may be interested in sharing their experiences through video.
I then designed categorized posts for the Genderful Instagram account to feature information from each page on the main website.
